Rascals Kenya Classic Adventure
Trip Length: 14 days
For prices and departure dates please contact us.

Take a safari specifically designed by parents for families traveling with children. Your family spends less time driving and more time searching for big game and interacting with local children. Take your kids to the "real zoo"!

Please note that each day whilst on Safari we have allowed leisure time (usually during the middle of the day) for you to either have a rest or go for a swim etc. This way you will be refreshed for the afternoon and at times, evening game drives.

This trip features:

  • Maasai Mara National Reserve
  • Samburu National Reserve
  • Special EXCLUSIVE school visits

The Samburu Serena Lodge is located across the river outside the Samburu National Reserve. The lodge is built mostly of natural stone and is surrounded by tall trees and lush established gardens. Symbols, implements and weapons of the Samburu people are used extensively in the lodge decor to bring guests closer to the life of this land and its people. There are murals on the walls and on the roof beams of the dining area.

It is easy to watch wildlife from this lodge. You might see an elephant stroll very close by on the other side the river wall. Share the excitement with fellow guests when leopards are baited into floodlit view across the river. Crocodiles come up the bank practically at your feet to find their meat. Marabous and wild cats watch carefully for a chance to grab some too.

All meals are served buffet style in the open-sided dining room. A Samburu tribesman protects the tables and buffet from monkeys and birds. Kenyan folk singers perform during the dinner hour.
