Day 1 & 2 HOME/SAIGON Depart home for Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight in Saigon.  Day 3 SAIGONSightseeing in Saigon, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and Reunification Palace, among other sites. Day 4 SAIGON Excursion to My Tho with a boat trip to the Mekong River Islands. (possibility of doing this as a biking trip for the more adventurous) Overnight in Saigon. Day 5 SAIGON Excusion to the Chu Chi Tunnels and Tay Ninh. Overnight in Saigon. 
Day 6 DANANG Transfer from Saigon to legendary China Beach for a five-night stay. Overnight Danang. 
Day 7 & 8 DANANGEnjoy these days at your leisure, playing at the beach! Overnights in Danang. Day 9 DANANG Excursion to Hoi An (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), with a boat trip on the Thun Bon River. Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town, and was once one of South East Asia's major international ports for 3 centuries. Overnight in Danang. Day 10 DANANG Enjoy this day at your leisure. Overnight in Danang. 
Day 11 HUETransfer to Hue, journeying along Highway 1 past Danang, Lang Co, and the Hai Van Pass. Enjoy sightseeing in Hue in the afternoon, including a visit to the Imperial Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight in Hue. 
Day 12 HUESightseeing in Hue and boat trip, including a visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda, Tomb of the Emperor Minh Mang, and the Old Imperial City. Overnight in Hue. Day 13 HANOI Transfer from Hue to Hanoi. Enjoy a Water Puppet Show this afternoon. Overnight Hanoi Day 14 HANOI Sightseeing in Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, and public parks, and the capital of Vietnam. Sites include the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and more. Enjoy a rikshaw ride in the old city. Overnight Hanoi. 
Day 15 ON BOARD A JUNKTransfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay for your cruise aboard a traditional junk! Kayak, swim, snorkel. Watch the setting sun as you eat dinner. Overnight on junk. Day 16 ON BOARD JUNK/HANOI Enjoy breakfast on board, while continuing to cruise the bay. After disembarking at noon, you will be transferred to Hanoi in time for your departure flight…. OR continue on with either an extension to visit Cambodia or Hong Kong!
