Day 1 & 2 ATHENS Depart home and arrive in Athens. Upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel and will spend the afternoon at your leisure.  Day 3 ATHENSEnjoy a half-day city tour of Athens. Highlights include the Temple of Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the Acropolis. Spend a lovely afternoon at your leisure. Day 4 ATHENS Enjoy another morning tour of Athens, including a visit to the Plaka, home of the Old Quarter. Visit the Benaki Museum where you will view over 30,000 items dating from the age of antiquity to the modern day. Afternoon at leisure. Day 5 DELPHI  Travel to Delphi to visit the archaeological museum that contains finds from the site. Day 6 OLYMPIA Today you will travel to Olympia, home of the first ever Olympic games in 776 BC. Tour the archaeological site and visit the nearby museum that contains many ancient artifacts. Day 7 NAFPLION Proceed to the picturesque Nafplion for overnight. The old town of Nafplion has seen generations of Byzantines, Franks, Turks and Greeks walk its narrow and winding streets through the centuries. Day 8 NAFPLION Today you will tour Mycenae and Epidarus. Day 9 SANTORINI Fly to Santorini to enjoy a 2 night stay in this beautiful cliffside village overlooking the Aegean.  Day 10 SANTORINI Enjoy this day at your leisure. Day 11 MYKONOS Take a ferry ride over to Mykonos to enjoy the superb beaches that the island has to offer! Day 12-13 MYKONOS Enjoy at your leisure in Mykonos Day 14 HOME Fly back to Athens in time to connect to your flight home. |
