Day 1
Upon arrival in Cairns coach transfer to your hotel for a 5 night stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel in Port Douglas. Cairns is a natural wonderland. On the one hand, it sits on the threshold of the world's largest and most extravagant coral gardens, the Great Barrier Reef, home to the giant black marlin and millions of exquisite tropical fish. On the other, it's the gateway to the Daintree Rainforest, a unique and staggeringly beautiful collection of tropical flora and fauna.
Day 2
This morning you will be transferred by the hotel to Port Douglas for the experience of a lifetime aboard Quicksilver. From the moon, the Great Barrier Reef is the only living structure visible on earth. It is a national treasure and one of the true wonders of the world. Quicksilver's friendly crew will take you to a reef at the very edge of Australia's Continental Shelf, to an underwater world that is a dazzling kaleidoscope of color and life. The reef lagoon at Agincourt offers excellent swimming and snorkeling areas. For the more adventurous, scuba diving on Agincourt is amongst the best in the world. With Quicksilver you can choose to stay dry and explore the stunning reef world from the comfort of a Quicksilver sub, just one meter underwater. Watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique viewing platform and underwater observatory. Whatever you choose, you'll bring home a lifetime of memories from this living natural wonder. Day 3
Full day Kuranda tour including scenic Kuranda rail, Ride on the Skyrail, visit the Rainforestation for Army Duck ride, performance by the Pamagirri Dancer. Make your visit to Kuranda a memorable one from door to door. You will be transferred to Freshwater Rail Station where you will board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for a breathtaking journey on one of the world's most scenic operational rail journeys. Upon arrival in Kuranda, you will have free time to explore the "Village of the Rainforest". Then it is time to enjoy a ride on the Skyrail, the world's most beautiful rainforest experience, as you glide silently only feet above the rainforest canopy. Lunch has been arranged for you, followed by entry into the Tjapukai Aboriginal theme park, with its stage shows, movie theatres, craft demonstrations and Aboriginal Village to mention a few of the attractions. You can even try some "bush tucker". Your hostess will meet you at the entrance at 4:10pm for your return transfer to your accommodation.
Day 4
At Leisure.
Day 5
Full day 4WD tour to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree River. Cruise on the crocodile infested Daintree River included. Lunch included. Daintree River and Noah Valley Tour. Includes a river cruise then on to the Daintree Environmental Center for a visit where one can access the CDI touch screen technology and rainforest interpretive information. Also included a visit to the Daintree Ice Cream Company to sample exotic fruit treats. Lunch is included followed by a swim in the waterfall a rainforest pool and finish with a guided walk through some of the most ancient remaining rainforest in the world.
Day 6
Coach transfer to Cairns airport for your departing flight.
