Located on the small island of San Salvador in the Bahamas 360 miles southeast of Miami -- sits one of the premier scuba diving resorts and fishing Meccas of the world.Being one of the southeasternmost islands in the Bahamas chain, San Salvador is just twelve miles long by five miles wide and home to approximately 950 residents. Life on San Salvador is pretty much as unhurried as it has been through the ages. It is still quiet, friendly and unspoiled with miles of deserted beaches and lush underwater life that was discovered by scuba divers in the 1970s. With over 50 dive sites to choose from -- there is a great variety to keep traveling divers happy. Normal daily visibility is in the 100 foot plus range. Five of the cabins have double bunks that can be made into a double with a single upper bunk, There is one cabin that has two single bunks. There are two separate heads and showers.
