Trip Length: 13 days

Ireland is a place of legendary beauty. Its landscape of mountains, lakes, rivers and coastline is what draws the most seasoned traveler. The Emerald Isle is rich in culture, with its own language, traditional music, song and dance which families are sure to enjoy. World class golfing, unequaled scenery, superb shopping; whatever your preference, Ireland abounds with the best of all worlds!

Day 1
Arrive at Dublin airport where you will be met and transferred to a first class hotel located in the city center for a 2 night stay. After checking in and having a rest, take a city tour with your driver/guide and visit some of the attractions.

Day 2
Enjoy breakfast this morning before being picked up by a private car for a full day tour to the pre historic sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. Newgrange is the most famous and is accessed by a state-of-the-art visitor center which precedes the visit to the site, generally regarded as one of the wonders of the world. Evening at leisure to sample one of the many excellent restaurants in the area.

Day 3
This morning after breakfast you are off to County Wicklow where the kids can try their hand at fishing for trout at the Annamoe Trout Farm. Also visit the Powerscourt House and Gardens, beautiful terraced gardens with a 400 foot waterfall on the premises. Tonight you will stay in the Rosslare area.

Day 4
Today after breakfast move westward to Arthurstown and cross Wexford Harbor via the little ferry to the lovely village Passage East and into the ancient city of Waterford for a guided tour of the Waterford Crystal factory to see the famous crystal being mixed, blown and cut. Continue on to Youghal a port town in east County Cork with a possible stop at Aherns for a seafood lunch. Tonight you will stay in Ballymalloe House famous for its cooking school.

Day 5
Enjoy breakfast before a private car picks you up and takes you to Fota Wildlife park where Dad can have a round of golf on the Fota island course which is one of Irelands foremost parkland courses while the children enjoy viewing the animals.

Day 6
After breakfast today you will drive through the very scenic west Cork into County Kerry. Here for he adventurous we can arrange a swim with Fungi, Ireland's resident dolphin. While a sighting is not guaranteed and the water will be cold (7mm wetsuit can be hired) it is a fun activity for the whole family to try.

Day 7
Today you will be whisked off to the inland town of Borrisokane staying in Ballycormac House located on the east shores of Lough Derg. Stop in Tralee to visit Kerry the Kingdom where the children can take a time-car ride through Tralee as it looked in the Middle Ages. There is also an interactive museum and an audio visual presentation.

Day 8
Hiking, horseback riding, pleasure cruises and fishing are available in the area, fishing can be done either on the shore of Lough Derg or from a locally hired boat with a guide. The fishing is for coarse fish such as Pike and Bream.

Day 9
After breakfast this morning you will drive to Renvyle located on the west coast. Renvyle House offers a host of activities including a swimming pool, a 9 hole golf course, horseback riding, fishing, bicycles and hiking.

Day 10
Day at Leisure or one can participate in any of the activities Renvyle House offers.

Day 11
Today visit the Delphi Adventure Center which offers a variety of water and land based activities such as canoeing, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, raft building, abseiling, archery, mountaineering and mountain biking.

Day 12
This morning you will depart after breakfast for the famous Burren area with a visit to Aliwee caves and overnight near Shannon Airport.

Day 13
This morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
