Many families have asked us for a more educational, organized vacation to Hawaii than they can find. Rascals has developed such a program, while not skimping on the comfort level. Our fun packed program provides for every member of your active family!. Learn the basics of surfing, visit volcanoes, snorkel on a reef, and finish the day with a massage: Time for a round or two of golf and a few hours of kayaking. This program runs year round and may be extended to include more days at Kona Village or Manele Bay Hotel.

DAY 1
Depart home city for Kona, Hawaii. Upon arrival a representative from the Kona Village Resort will be waiting to transfer everyone to the property. Check-in, enjoy lunch and familiarize yourselves with the property. Remainder of the day is free. (L,D)

DAY 2
Following a wonderful Hawaiian breakfast a representative from Ocean Eco Tours will be waiting to take your family to a local surfing beach for a half day lesson to include all gear and snacks. (B,L,D)

DAY 3
Free day at Kona Village, with Kona Village activities. (B,L,D)

DAY 4
This morning check-out of the Kona Village. Meet your guide and driver at 8:00am. Enjoy a day of rainforest hikes, volcano visits, waterfalls and beaches on this island tour. You and your guide will decide what you all want to see and do as this is a private tour to be planned for your interests. Following this exciting day you will be transferred to the Lion's Gate Bed & Breakfast, in the Captain Cook area (Coffee Country) with wonderful views of the Big Island! (B).

DAY 5
This morning your driver will be waiting to take you to the City of Refuge and a half day naturalist snorkeling adventure. Return this afternoon to your Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Enjoy your last evening on the Big Island. (B).

DAY 6
This morning your driver will be waiting to take you to the airport in time for your morning flight to Lanai. Upon arrival a representative from the Manele Bay Hotel will be waiting. Check-in for your 4 nights accommodation. Remainder of the day free to relax. (B,D; lunch for the children).

DAY 7,8,9
On these days you will be on the 4x4 Adventure Package with daily excursions and activities to choose from including: 4 Wheel Drive for the day with lunch, sport clay shooting (no age limit, the only requirement is that the child feels comfortable holding the gun), half day sailing/snorkeling catamaran cruise (no age limit), 2 hour horseback-riding excursion with lunch (must be at least 4ft 6 inches), round of golf, tennis lesson with pro, half hour massage and facial, half day sea kayaking, and snorkel trip with guide (no age limit as long as child is comfortable in kayak-double kayaks are available). This can be duplicated or doubled up on a day (i.e. One day if you choose to do nothing the next day you can do 2 things). (B,D,; lunch for the children).

Day 10
After checking-out of the hotel, you will be driven to the airport in time for your return flight home.
