"Ahhh....another day in paradise. Those were the words that my husband and I uttered each night after spending yet another day in the paradise of Fiji. And none of it would have been possible without the excellent assistance from Antoinette at Rascals in Paradise. When planning my trip, I called several travel agencies looking for a "South Pacific Family Expert". Oh what a relief to find Antoinette! Not only did she know what she was talking about, but she had just returned from a trip to Fiji and so had all the latest information on what to do while there, transportation (the sea plane flight ended up being one of the highlights), and the best and most interesting places to stay.

Because we were traveling with small children I wanted to have a relaxing , not-too hectic trip, but I also wanted my children to experience "real" Fiji life. Thanks to Antoinette's excellent suggestion, we spent the first four days of our trip at the very welcoming and authentic Crusoe's Retreat on the main island. While there we fished, talked, ate and shared Kava with the locals. Quite an experience!

Our last six days were then spent relaxing in the ultimate paradise - Castaway Island Resort. Snorkeling, parasailing, swimming, fishing, boating, and jet-skiing were just some of the activities that kept us busy. My children especially enjoyed the Kid's Club activities (and their parents the romantic candle-lit dinners by the ocean!). The people working at both resorts couldn't have been friendlier and the trip anymore relaxing or enjoyable than it was! My husband and I highly recommend a call to Rascals and a trip to Fiji!"
